Emirates Waste to Energy Company
Emirates Waste to Energy is a joint venture between Bee’ah and Masdar aims to set up waste-to-energy projects across the UAE & MENA region. We aspire to enable the Sharjah emirate to be the first in the region to achieve a ‘zero waste-to-landfill’ by 2021 This initiative was created in line with the UAE Vision 2021 which has set a clean energy target of 27%; and of diverting 75% of solid waste from landfills.
