About us

EMIRATES WASTE TO ENERGY

A joint venture between BEEAH Group and Masdar, the Emirates Waste to Energy is a pioneer for waste-to-energy innovation in the UAE. Formed in 2017, our venture brings together BEEAH’s expertise in waste management and Masdar’s international leadership in clean, renewable energy.

The Sharjah Waste to Energy plant is the inaugural project of the joint venture, enabling Sharjah to progress towards 100% landfill waste diversion while powering the grid with enough clean energy for 28,000 homes.
